I really get a rush taking portraits for clients. The never ending opportunities to help someone document their time on this earth. When you look at some of the first photos of people thinking of that point in history all comes from that old photo like billy the kid or the wagon train moving through the west.
My brother and I used to joke when the family went on trips over the country saying all mom wants is people pictures. We posed over and over through the years while he and I took landscape or images of the city we were visiting. We now look back and see the history of our growth and styles of clothes, which could not happen without those people pictures
